QUINCY — Saturday morning hundreds of children lined up and down Crawford Street with their families and friends as they awaited candy and bead necklaces to be thrown by parade participants. To celebrate 40 years of Gadsden County heritage, the community gathered for a parade and festival. The festivities were a part of the 2020 Black History Celebration highlighting the progression and achievements made throughout history.
